Framed by high chalk cliffs and dominated by its castle, Dieppe beach is an iconic urban spot on the Alabaster Coast. Mostly made up of pebbles, it offers a distinctly maritime navigation in a spectacular setting, right in the heart of the city. Dieppe is not an easy or forgiving spot, but it can provide very nice committed sessions when the wind and tide are well aligned. It is a spot appreciated by local riders for its straightforward character, power, and direct accessibility from the city center.

Navigation takes place in open sea, on a pebble beach highly dependent on the tide. At low tide, launching is technical due to the pebbles and steep slope. At high tide, the depth quickly becomes sufficient but the space at the shore is more limited. The dominant wind blows from west to northwest, arriving side to side-onshore. The water conditions are generally choppy to rough, with clean waves when swell is present.
