Lac de Zoug

Brüggli generally offers side-shore to side-on conditions depending on the direction of the prevailing wind. The water is relatively sheltered, making it a spot suitable for the variable conditions of the alpine lake. Launching is done directly from the recreational area, with easy access to the spot. Navigation takes place across the entire Lake Zug, but it is important to respect the regulated areas: a minimum distance of 150 meters must be maintained from the shores in certain protected areas. Local regulations and OROEM areas (wildlife protection zones) should be checked before riding, as kitesurfing is subject to a more restrictive regime than other sailing crafts on Swiss lakes. Some exemptions may apply according to local laws.
