It is a popular spot for beginners and intermediates due to its shallow water and easy access from the village. In front of the village, a concrete basin is visible at low tide, providing a typical setting of the English Channel.

The spot offers a large shallow area, ideal for progressing safely. Locals often come here for quiet sessions, especially when the wind from SW or NW picks up. The atmosphere is relaxed, with parking nearby and a short walk to the water.

The spot works well with a side-on to side-shore wind coming from SW or NW, which is the most effective for this west-exposed beach. At high tide, the sandy beach is small but navigable, with a flat to choppy water state and a large shallow area in front. Launching is done directly from the beach, easy even for beginners, and the take-off zone is wide at low tide when the beach extends significantly.

At low tide, a concrete basin appears in front of the village and should be avoided as it is exposed, but the rest offers a vast and flat space to navigate safely. The navigation areas are centered on the bay, with enough room to turn without disturbing swimmers in summer. Be cautious of strong tides in the English Channel that quickly change the configuration: prefer high tide for more comfort. The dominant winds in the area are regular in season, but check forecasts as the spot is tidal and sensitive to coefficients.

Local feature: the beach is wide and sandy, perfect for storing gear, with free parking nearby. Ideal for freeride sessions or learning, thanks to the shallow area that extends up to several hundred meters.
