The spot is favored with a South-East wind where conditions become powerful with marked waves. The launch is easy on the wide beach, and there is space to ride without too many people. You can also combine kite sessions and sunbathing with family.

The spot mainly works with a South-East wind with a perfect side-shore orientation that makes the water surface super flat and powerful, ideal for freeride or wave sessions. With this wind, the riding area extends along the entire length of the beach, with direct access to the sand without major obstacles. Stay vigilant for the swell that can rise and for other riders, especially in SE where it can get crowded.
With a West wind, the orientation is side-on with light thermals, perfect for calmer sessions but this happens rarely. Be cautious of the Mistral (Northwest) which becomes side-off and irregular, risking sending you offshore or towards industrial areas. The launch area is right on the beach, wide and sandy, with parking nearby for easy loading and unloading.
Tides do not significantly influence conditions, the water surface remains navigable at all times. Prefer the central part of the beach for launching, avoid the ends where the shorebreak can be violent with swell. It's a versatile spot: flat in SE, chop or small waves depending on wind strength.
