France · Bretagne
The beach of Goas Lagorn, located in Beg-Leguer between Lannion and Trébeurden, is a lively beach on the Pink Granite Coast in Brittany. Facing west, it offers beautiful sunsets over the sea and is surrounded by preserved nature with pines and goats in the valley.
It is a popular spot for locals for kitesurfing and windsurfing, with a friendly atmosphere both in summer and off-season. The beach is wide, not overcrowded, and has a bar-restaurant and toilets.
Supervised in July and August, it attracts families and riders for its waves suitable for swimming and its sliding conditions.

The beach of Goas Lagorn is oriented west, making it a perfect spot for SW side-on or side-shore winds, allowing for easy launching from the fine sand. The navigation area extends in front of the beach in the bay of Lannion, with ample space to take off and ride without disturbing swimmers in high season.
Depending on the tides, the water surface varies: at low tide, the beach widens and offers more sand for launching, while at high tide, the water rises and brings the waves closer to the shore, ideal for short sessions. Be cautious of the Goaslagorn river that flows into the sea, sometimes creating a localized current near the channel.
Launching usually takes place in the center of the beach, away from the rocks at the ends. Experienced riders enjoy the small waves for strapless or freestyle, while beginners can stand for a long time thanks to the gradual bottom. Free parking nearby, but in high season, arrive early for a spot.
