The spot is oriented to mainly receive northeast winds, with very good functioning also on N, NNE, NE, and ENE sectors. The wind then arrives rather side-on to onshore depending on the exact orientation of the flow, which provides fairly simple navigation to read for an intermediate to advanced rider.
The water surface is generally flat to slightly choppy, with sometimes a small shorebreak or a small wave depending on the swell and tide level. According to spot feedback, the spot is cleaner at mid-rising tide and at low tide, with more readable and regular water in these phases.
The launch is done from the beach, with a short and fairly direct launch area. One must keep space around the beach to rig and take off cleanly, then move away to the main navigation area to avoid swimmers, boats, and jet skis. The spot remains more comfortable when the wind is well established and the swell does not grow too much.
