At Paralia Korfos, the wind most often comes from the NW to WNW sector, which generally results in a side-shore to side-on wind depending on the exact orientation of the day. The spot functions without depending on tides, which greatly simplifies reading the conditions. Launching takes place from a sandy beach with a busy launch area, so one must keep maneuvers clean and manage space well with other riders.
The water surface is often flat to slightly choppy, with sometimes a small chop when the wind rises. It is an interesting spot for freeride, progression, or working on jumps when the Meltemi sets in.
