Surrounded by Breton nature, it offers a mix of sheltered water and authentic atmosphere, far from overcrowded spots.

The Pointe Pradic spot works well with west to southwest winds, typical of the Morbihan region, where the wind often comes side-shore relative to the beach orientation facing the ria. The water remains generally flat thanks to the protection of the ria, perfect for freeride or learning, but it can become chop in strong breezes or swell coming from the ocean via the Barre.
Launching is done directly from the sandy beach, wide and easy to access, with a clear take-off area near the campsite. The navigation area extends into the ria up to mid-tide, while remaining vigilant on the limits to avoid drifting towards the Barre d'Étel. At low tide, the space reduces but the bottom remains navigable; at high tide, the basin widens for more freedom.
Local peculiarity: the wind can be irregular as the spot is somewhat enclosed, but the proximity of spots like Kerhillio (Erdeven) allows for alternation if needed. Summer zoning may be possible during swimming periods, and always adapt the area according to the tide and wind.
