Playa Punta Piedra is located in Coveñas, a small peaceful seaside resort in the Sucre department, on the central Caribbean coast of Colombia. The wind blows side-onshore (from the right) with an average intensity of 12 to 20 knots. At low tide, the sea becomes a vast flat water surface, ideal for freeride or freestyle. At high tide, a soft choppy forms, without hindering navigation. The bottom is sandy, and the depth remains shallow for several hundred meters.
