Berck-sur-Mer

Berck-sur-Mer is one of the largest playgrounds for kitesurfing in northern France. Its infinite and flat beach stretches for several kilometers, providing an ideal space for riders of all levels. The west wind blows freely here, and the tide reveals a huge sandbank perfect for flat sessions and freeride. It is a very popular spot among schools and practitioners from the north, known for its accessibility, safety, and friendliness. Here, you ride facing the horizon, with the sea, the wind, and nothing else.

Información detallada

The main beach of Berck offers a very flat water surface at low tide, perfect for learning, freestyle, and freeride. At high tide, the water surface becomes choppy with small waves depending on the wind strength. The dominant wind from west to southwest is side-onshore, regular and sustained. The vastness of the beach allows for easy launching even at high tide. The spot works at all tides, but remains most comfortable between mid-tide and low tide, when the sand area is the largest.
