The prevailing wind from west to southwest blows side-onshore between 15 and 25 knots. The water plan is wavy to choppy on Grande Plage, and more flat at low tide on the Men Du side. The bottom is sandy, safe, with large take-off areas. The waves are regular and progressive, perfect for beginners in surfkite. The spot remains navigable over a wide tidal time range, but low tide uncovers vast sandy areas.
